Women In Media WA is proud to announce the inaugural WIM Mentoring Scholarship, an initiative of the WIM WA Committee to support and nurture talented young women in our industry
Thanks to our friends at Media Super, who have chipped in with an additional $500, the recipient will receive $1,500 towards the cost of flights, accommodation and conference fees to attend the first Women in Media national conference on the Gold Coast, 27- 28 Oct 2017. The conference will be an exciting professional development opportunity to hear from and network with some of the best and brightest woman in the Australian media.
Criteria: Applicants must be female and aged 30 yrs or under, and currently living in WA. They can be students aspiring to enter the media, public relations or communications industry, or early career professionals within these industries.
Application process: Applicants are required to submit no more than one A4 page detailing their employment or academic experience and their eligibility for the Scholarship. They should also outline why they would like to attend the national conference.
Applications should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, and must be received by midnight on Friday 22 September.
Requirements: The recipient will be required to write a brief report about their experience at the conference and they will be formally introduced at the next WIM WA event.
