Olivia Humphrey is the founder of Kanopy, the groundbreaking streaming platform delivering films to library members. After years in film distribution at Roadshow, BBC and Austar/Foxtel, she bootstrapped Kanopy in 2008, later relocating to San Francisco to scale the business across North America and Europe. In 2021, she sold Kanopy in one of Australia’s top media-tech exits. Olivia is an Adjunct Professor for Entrepreneurship at Curtin University, Director with the Australian Children’s Television Foundation, and involved in a number of philanthropic pursuits.
