Petra Buchanan is a board director and former CEO with international experience across media, technology, health, and not-for-profit sectors. She has led and built strong, recognisable brands including the McGrath Foundation, ASTRA, Sendle, Unisys, and Warner Bros Discovery. Known for her expertise in strategy, governance, reputation leadership, and digital transformation, Petra has guided organisations through growth, crisis, and cultural change. She is currently a Non-Executive Director of AMPCo and Strategic Advisor to Women in Media Australia. A GAICD-qualified director, Petra was named one of AFR’s 100 Women of Influence and is a recipient of the B&T Women in Media Mentor Award.
