Women in Media Announcement

Women in Media Australia announces that after two years with the organisation, General Manager Kym Middleton has decided to conclude her role on 14 January 2026 for personal reasons, following the completion of her current contract. 

During her tenure, Women in Media Australia has expanded the range of programs it delivers to support women across the media industry. This included the National Conference, leadership programs, and the introduction of the Women in Media Oration.

The Board thanks Kym for her leadership, commitment and contribution to advancing the organisation’s mission, and wishes her well in her future endeavours.

Details regarding recruitment for the General Manager role will be announced shortly.
