Women in Media Australia welcomes three new appointments to the Financial Audit and Risk Committee
Women in Media is expanding its Financial Audit and Risk Committee (FARC), welcoming three new committee members Anushree Kadam, Vicky Simister and Keya McGeown.

Anushree is a Director in Deloitte Australia’s Cyber Risk & Security practice, where she advises executive teams on enterprise risk, technology governance, operational resilience and AI governance. With 16 years’ experience, she has led large-scale technology transformation across financial services, telecommunications, government and critical infrastructure, with a particular focus on highly regulated organisations. Anushree brings deep expertise in technology risk, operational resilience and AI governance to FARC, alongside a strong commitment to supporting women’s leadership and career progression in technology.

Vicky is a qualified finance leader with more than 14 years’ experience in the media industry, alongside not-for-profit board experience and extensive experience on corporate leadership committees. She has held Head of Finance roles at Southern Cross Austereo and The Guardian and currently serves as Head of Finance – Group Sales Portfolio at Southern Cross Austereo. Vicky has a strong track record of advocating for women, including founding a multi-award-winning anti-sexual harassment campaign in the UK before migrating to Australia, co-chairing diversity, equity and inclusion forums within media organisations, and volunteering on Women in Media’s NSW Committee. She is an AICD-trained Fellow of The Observership Program and a two-time finalist in the B&T Women in Media Awards.

Keya is Legal Counsel at Special Broadcasting Service (SBS), where she advises on legal, reputational, ethical and commercial risks relating to the organisation’s strategic direction and delivery of the SBS Charter. Her experience spans media, arts and screen law, intellectual property, defamation, rights agreements and culturally informed governance, with a particular focus on practical risk management and ethical decision-making. Keya is also a Board Member of Moorambilla Voices and Canberra Youth Theatre, and previously served as a Board Observer with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, gaining experience across board governance, strategy, risk management, cyber resilience and organisational change. She brings a strong commitment to inclusive leadership, good governance and supporting diverse perspectives across Australia’s media, screen and arts industries.
