Women in Media Australia Welcomes Angela Watson to its Board of Directors

Women in Media Australia announces today that Angela Watson is joining its board of directors, effective immediately.

Angela is a recognised governance, risk, finance and compliance leader across the energy, private, public and not-for-profit sectors. An experienced company secretary and non-executive director, she brings a strong governance perspective and practical leadership in navigating increasingly complex risk, regulatory and transformation environments.

In 2025, Angela was recognised as Australia's Top 100 Governance Professional and was a finalist in the Risk Management Institute of Australia Risk Leader of the Year Award. She is a respected contributor to the accounting, risk and governance professions, mentoring practitioners across Australia and championing professional excellence within the industry.

Women in Media Chair Anita Jacoby AM welcomed the appointment.
