Highlights from Women in Media's NSW End-of-Year Celebration

Approximately 60 NSW media women gathered for Women in Media’s End of Year celebration at the Alibi Bar, Ovolo Woolloomooloo in Sydney on Thursday, November 30th. Dominique Spanos and LJ Loch, the Convenors for New South Wales, presented the preliminary plans for the 2024 calendar of events. Attendees were encouraged to provide feedback on each event and suggest potential guest speakers they’d like to see on future panels. The response was fantastic, and a big thank you to everyone who contributed!

We also extended a warm welcome to new committee members Amanda Shalala, Lauren Rudd, and Melissa Maclean, who shared their hopes for the group in the upcoming year.

The committee's main focus for 2024 is to launch Women in Media NSW’s Official Advocacy Campaign, an initiative that the committee's fundraiser, Tara Cheesman, predicts sponsors will be enthusiastic to support in the new year.
